Some email about my "Kids"

I am very happy with Dewey.  He can be a little stubborn at times but we would not trade him for anything in the world.  I would get another boy from Nancy if I were getting a new baby.  He loves to  sit and cuddle and loves to travel.  When I take him someplace alone he loves his car seat.  He would never mark his  territory..  Has been in many houses and with other dogs too.  He  is over a year and still does not lift his leg. He is so healthy. Never a problem. He does not bark when he is left alone. He lays in his bed and looks out the window and waits for us to come home. I could talk forever about him.  He is so absolutely adorable, loves everyone and everybody loves him.
Carol StanM1@webtv.net

I think I will call the little girl Reese. Like the Reese's candy- Reeses's pieces for the orange color in her fur. Or Reese's peanut butter cups:) Cashmere made me think of the idea. She kind of looks that way I think. Cashmere is doing well. She is nice- big boned. She has gotten so tall.  Sweetest personality.  My husband adores her, too. He says--"this one is mine!"  I will keep you up to date on pregnancy watch.  Let you know as soon as I know. Hope your weekend is great:)
Jill belilarags@bellsouth.net

She is doing great.  Suey (our Calico) is finally used to her and they play chase all around the house.  I am so thankful for Ashlee (we nick named her Lee Lee) because she is so playful and helps take Suey and Henna's minds off Henna's illness.  They love watching her play.  She is more and more playful everyday.  Sometimes she plays so much she will just stop right where she is and plop down on the floor or chair or coach...like I said, where ever she is and take a nap.  It is really cute.  Hope all is well with you. Take care.

They start off So Small

And good morning to you and all your little furry friends. I am so, so, so, so happy to hear that my little Thunder is doing okay. I go to bed every night thinking if I will get a positive email from you. When I open up my box and see your email and take a deep breath and then find out it's a good one. I can then get my day started. This little guy has to come home. He is going to be such a nice little dog thanks to you and your caring and nurturing. He is getting special treatment and that benefits me in his personality and being a sweet dog. No wonder when I read all the emails everyone says "wait until you get Nanci's dogs." Boy are they right. I never had such terrific contact with a breeder before. With Peppy it was very blah. I went up there to put a deposit on him, two weeks old. Had no dogs to chose from. I wanted the female she said no. She took out one dog and said this is it. Then said you can pick him up in eight weeks. That was all. I hated her. I don't know why I even went as far as buying a dog from her. She did have a good reputation back then. Then I didn't know anything about coloring and thought they all looked liked Peppy. When he got older is when I saw a shih tzu with a light face that I fell in love with. Now my little Thunder is that face. Have a great day and thanks for the updates. You are the best!!!!!!  Maria Elena TARARAA@aol.com

I do want one of your kids i just need to have an idea of when you would have a kid for me... I would love one of your babies. They're beautiful and you really seem to care a lot about your dogs and who they go to. I like the idea that you have such a good relationship w/your buyers. I'm pretty picky. I would give one of your babes more love than you can imagine. This baby will be replacing my daughter who will leave for college in the fall. I guess you could call the puppy my midlife child.!
Thanks, Barb ibbarb28@yahoo.com

Hi Barb: You've come to the right place and you need not look any further. Nanci was recommended to me by a friend that bought two dogs from her. When my friend came to my house, she kept raving about Nanci and how wonderful she was and how beautiful her dogs were. I kept all this in the back burner for future contacts. She has two dogs from Nanci's litter who are the joy of the entire family. Anyway, about three months ago, I lost my older Shih Tzu and was devastated. It took a while before I could even mention to my husband that I had to have another dog. My second dog, who is much better right now, was grieving and missing her little brother.  My two dogs were not bought from Nanci).  We all decided that it would be good to have a companion for her who is my pride and joy. I called my friend and she gave me Nanci's phone number. She said I would love Nanci. Well, I did get in contact with Nanci by phone and then I entered her website when she gave me the address. I fell in love with the dogs on the website. I told her that I was considering another puppy and that she came very highly recommended. A deposit was asked and I sent a check right away. Immediately, Nanci and I became friends through emails. You write her an email, and instantly you get an answer. Very different to another breeder that I had contacted before knowing Nanci. She told me all her litters that were due in the coming weeks. I had first wanted a female as I have had a very good experience with my female but after talking to her and other customers, I am convinced that her little boys are the best. About two weeks ago, I just could not wait and asked my husband if we could take a ride to meet Nanci and her babies and to take a look at the litter that we were interested in. She is two hours away from us also. I emailed Nanci and within a few hours, I had a response saying that it would be fine to come and meet her and the kids and we made a date.  Well, just wait until you meet Nanci and her babies. She has the most gorgeous dogs, immaculately kept and the friendliest little things you want to meet. I immediately fell in love with the father of my baby but she said he was not for sale :( :( lol. I was interested in the last litter that she had. She took each dog out one by one (mommy was a bit worried but Nanci reassured her that it was okay - she wanted her puppies back ) so that we could see them. They were so tiny barely had their eyes opened (2 weeks old). We immediately fell in love with this tiny little guy with beautiful markings. The month of June can't go by quick enough for me to bring my little guy home July 5th. All of Nanci's dogs are so friendly and happy to be around people. Shih Tzu's are the very best breed you can pick. They are little but they guard your house like crazy. They are lap dogs. They love to be cuddled and hugged. They get along with kids very well. They are very playful but at the same time when you leave them alone at home, they don't go and destroy your home, they just go to their little corner and go to sleep. Their coat is high maintenance but if you keep them in a puppy coat, they are fuss free and look adorable. My older dog was kept in a long coat for a very long time and then as he got older it was easier to have him clipped. My female was also kept in a long coat for many, many years and it was just recently that I clipped her hair. I am now letting it grow so that when I get the puppy, they will both have long hair. I might be sorry but I know how to take care of them and I take pride in making them pretty bows to put on their long hair. Don't hesitate to buy from Nanci. You won't be sorry. You should take a ride to her house and meet her dogs. They are worth taking a ride for. She goes way and beyond to make you happy. I know I am very satisfied and I don't even have the puppy yet. Here is my little guy.    I asked her for a picture and within a day, she sent me four pictures. I just can't wait to see my little guy and hold him and have him all to myself. I talk to my little female here every day to tell her about her little brother. I swear she understands me. Did I tell you that they are very smart. I bet you were not planning on a newspaper from me but you got it anyway. lol. I just could not stop talking about Nanci. Maria Elena TARARAA@aol.com

(third Shih Tzu baby) Good Morning, I-fee is the perfect pup. So playful & sure of himself!!  It was amazing to me that he already  recognizes your voice and gets so excited when he hears you.  I love the name. I know Kobi is going to be perfect too. His fur is so silky. We we're so happy on the way home. Your room looks terrific. ..... Have a good day...anything going on?? Glad you enjoyed the bread!! Deb DBunki@aol.com

Hi Nanci, I have to tell you that Todd and I are so happy with our newest addition Sweet Lu-Lu Bella.  I never thought we would end up with two of the most beautiful, well behaved dogs in my life.  Tucker and Lu-Lu get along so well and are inseparable.  They do everything together.  It is amazing to watch them.  Bringing Lu-Lu home was the best decision we made.  She adjusted so well and believe it or not - no accidents - just a perfect little girl.  I believe the reason she adjusted as well as she did is because of the way you breed these dogs and the unconditional love and care they receive.  It shows in them and shines.  I want to thank you again for thinking of us when Lu-Lu was returned because although I would have probably went for a new puppy first - seeing is believing and after we connected with her - that was it - no question in our mind that she belonged with us.  She truly is perfect and her personality compliments Tuckers.  I am so glad that we found you because after our loss with Tory after 15 years - i never thought two dogs would bring back such happiness.  We all hope to see you soon for a visit.  p.s.  we kept Lu-Lu in full coat - and she is BEAUTIFUL however lets not forget that Tucker still gets by on his good looks alone.  People can't believe the coloring on him - it really is rare to find their colors! Thank you again for EVERYTHING. Love, Cathy, Todd, Tucker and Lu-Lu Cathyress88@aol.com

Our baby is great.  Loves to kiss and snuggle.  Eats good and is lots of fun. Gerald runner149@email.msn.com

Hi Nanci, The baby had a great day today.  We fed her and played with her. She napped a lot.  She played in her playpen too.  We went for a walk (we got a pink collar with a bell, real pretty).  No accidents in the house, but she didn't poop either yet.  She did eat twice today, so maybe tomorrow.  We're off to bed, she is with Megan tonight, already spoiled!!!
Patrick pjh10@cox.net

Thank you for your e-mails. I appreciate your taking the time to talk to me, especially when you were busy delivering babies. How did everything go? I hope the babies and mother are doing well....As for me, I would like a female baby...one that is playful, loveable, friendly, and a cuddler....I am sure you will be able to match me up with my new baby. I am very pleased with the love and care you give to these little pups. Please continue to keep in touch and let us know when it will be convenient to visit. Mary Frances jjbet@mindspring.com

Hi Nanci, I see the two fabulous Shih Tzus you sold to my fiends Veronica and Dawn. They love those dogs although I believe everyone loves your dogs. My Coco will be three years old on the fourth of July, and she is the loveliest dog in the world. She loves all dogs and people, almost never ever barks, and has a happy lively personality. I thank you so much. I do think of getting another Shih Tzu to be a companion for Coco. I really like females although I know you treasure the males. I am in no rush to do this. I would want a young dog...a puppy or a young dog. Would you have any females available in July or August? Again, I thank you for Coco and hope you are well. We were lucky this year to have almost no winter. That makes dog walking so much easier. Nancy NancyS9726@aol.com

Hi Nanci, Thank you so much for agreeing to watch Cee Cee.  I feel good knowing she will be in the best hands. I'll E-mail you the night before.   Thanks...Judi JDTUSTIN@aol.com

Hi Nanci!  Thanks for the info.  We are doing fine.  He loves to play with all his toys and to explore his new home.  I was able to get a long weekend this coming weekend so I'm looking forward to spending a couple of days with him.  I have a question about feeding....  Have your new litters come yet?  Hope you are well.  Sawtalk101@aol.com

And before you know it they're growing up!

Hi Nanci, I've been meaning to call you........ Da-Lee is doing awesome. Everyone comments how beautiful she is, and she and I are best pals......we're together all the time. She is a regular "boat" dog now, and runs down the stairs to the beach, when she knows we're going on the water!!  Question. Do you have ANY electronic pictures of your breeder dogs. My daughter and I both love the way you groom them, short body, long hair on the legs, but not sure how you do the faces. All I know, is they are gorgeous, and I'd really appreciate a close-up picture, so I can learn to groom Da-Lee the way you do your dogs..........any chance of emailing me one? Hope all is well..........how many new litters do you have coming up?  Best, Leslie  leslie@arrowdirect.com

Everything is great. Laz is wonderful. He is the best, smartest animal. We love him so! Fran frangare@earthlink.net

Our baby is great.  Loves to kiss and snuggle.  Eats good and is lots of fun! Gerald runner149@email.msn.com

I have read the blue folder that you gave me with all the information I need to know about my puppy.  I've even highlighted the areas that I thought were important enough for other members of my family to read.  I didn't even have to go to the store to buy a puppy book.  You've done it all for your customers.  Thanks. Maria tararaa@aol.com

Hi Sharon, I am so very happy with Dewey.  he can be a little stubborn at times but we would not trade him for anything in the world.  I would get another boy from Nancy if I were getting a new baby.  He loves to sit and cuddle and loves to travel.  When I take him someplace alone he loves his car seat.  He would never mark his  territory. HI Nanci, Ashlee is doing great.  She had a lot of fun at the obstacle course on Sunday.  She even won one round.  We wondered if she had ever done anything like that before because she was a natural?  Also, she loves swimming.  She only goes in for a couple of minutes then she gets wrapped in a towel to warm back up again...then she goes right back in the water.  She has a friend named Beezee that is also a Shih Tzu that likes to swim, they egg each other on.  It is really cute.  I'll try to get a picture of it and send it to you.  Hope all is well there. Take care, Samantha RMillsp802@aol.com

Hi Nanci, I just returned from a trip to Scotland so I just got your e-mail. I think I would prefer a female puppy  if one comes in in your upcoming litters. Ash-Lee is precious but I think  my Coco would adjust better with a puppy. I could be wrong. I hope you are well. The puppies Ruth and Veronica have are so precious. What a great breeder you are. I tell everyone about your wonderful Shih Tzus...the very best! I'll talk to you soon... Nancy NancyS9726@aol.com

Thanks for the info.  Congratulations on the new babies!   Mickey's really doing great.  (Just met my neighbor and pooped on her sidewalk!  Luckily she likes dogs, and of course I cleaned up right away.)  He's really gotten used to his new routine quickly.  Even though I'm home today, he's already used to sleeping the day away.  He slept all night without crying; the two previous nights he only woke up once and cried. He pooped and peed on the paper once this morning, mostly because he trained me on where to put the paper.  I have a couple of pictures I will send in the mail. Take care. Sharon Sawtalk101@aol.com

Dear Nanci - Thank you for sending Ling-ling our way.  What a face!  Is Ling-ling in any way related to Max or Joy?  Just curious. By the way, Max and Joy are doing wonderfully.  They love each other so much and are truly inseparable.  We notice a change in both of them this year. While they have always been affectionate, I think they are even getting more cuddly.  It might be due to Max and his age (he's a lot more mature and is definitely out of the puppy stage, calm but peppy).  Hope all is well with you.  I made a copy of Joy's baby (the biz card picture you emailed me) and showed it to their groomer, Kim (they love Kim). She has it hanging in her shop! We continue to be so grateful to you for bringing Max and Joy into our lives.  They are our precious babies! Much love, Pam pwb01@earthlink.net

Hi Nanci: Love opening my emails in the morning and have little updates from you. You can be sure that you will never lose track of your little Thunder at my house. I love writing emails if I know the other person will respond right away. I'm very good about that. I see that I don't have anything to worry about with you because you respond right away. Now don't be surprised if you gets a lot of updates from me along with pictures. I'm a photographer at heart and I love taking pictures especially of my babies. My dogs are no different. I have a picture album for both Peppy and Misty since the time they entered the house until Peppy died. I will do the same for Thunder (Nanci's little precious boy). You might get more than you bargained for lol. Maria Elena tararaa@aol.com

Hi Nancy, Merry Christmas to you and all your creatures.  I will send you a picture of Tobey and Molly as soon as they are developed.  Molly weighs 8 lbs and is very cute, Tobey weighs 13 lbs and is very lovable.  I get many compliments when I walk them and I always mention you as the breeder. Be well, Veronica najrev@hotmail.com

...I just want you to know how wonderful you have been.  So helpful and informative.  We appreciate more than you know the hours you have spent with us, your patience in answering our questions, and your care in knowing the dogs.  People who love dogs and wonderful people and I'm glad our household will soon be filled with the joy of a puppy.  We have decided to name him Yofee ( like coffee except with a long o).  The name is a Hebrew word meaning wonderful.
Pam Campbell 110403.3125@compuserve.com

Nanci -  do not worry about the folders - I enjoy doing them for you and I am thankful for Ling-Ling as she is wonderful and such a joy to us !   When I go out for a few hours .... I am so excited to get back to see her happy little tail wagging.   I hope to make it up there one day soon to see you and Ling-Ling's babies.  Talk to you soon.....Tina tinacoven@earthlink.net

Hi Nancy,  You're quite welcome.  We had such a great experience with you and are extremely happy with Oreo, so we're happy to refer others to you. Cheryl RSykora1@aol.com

Hello Nancy and Happy Holidays.  Our little puppy is little no more.  He's soon to be 8 months old on January 5th and he's probably around 13 lbs. now.  He eats well and he turned into a wonderful little guy; well behaved, smart as a whip and as lovable as they come.   His coloring is beautiful.  Black mask and ears, tan with black highlights and  he is a real eye catcher.  Have a nice holiday and hope to hear from you soon. Best wishes and thanks so much for little Cooper.
Gerry & Zita runner149@email.msn.com

Dear Nanci,  I fell in love with your kids.  They are the most beautiful Shih Tzus I have ever seen.   No wonder you are so cautious and protective -- they are angels.  We would love to have one to fuss with and love.  Our hearts have always been set on a mostly white with brown, gold or even black coloration.  We hope you will consider us as serious and responsible owners of your precious puppies.     Thanks,  Madeleine Madylow@aol.com

Nanci, Laz and I want to wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. We hope that you are well and happy and the New Year brings you more of what you want. Laz had a lovely Christmas although he is exhausted from opening his gifts and giving love to so many people. He is the most delightful little sole and we thank you for him every day.
Fran fran@frangare.com

You must really have good dogs.  Everyone that I've heard from loves their dogs.  Even Rod said that you have great dogs. I just can't wait to get my girl. REDHEAd1112@earthlink.net

Hi Nanci, Hope all is well with you!! Da-Lee is the light of my life, and she got as many Xmas presents as me!! She's with me 24/7, and loves her daddy too! She is just a gorgeous dog, and I never knew I could love her as much as I do. Please use any of my comments with anyone who is thinking of buying on of your dogs. I'd be happy to be a reference!
Best, Leslie leslie@arrowdirect.com

Hi Nanci! We made it home just fine; Yofee was a perfect gentleman for the car ride. When we got him here he was sociable and playful.  By now he's had some water, his lunch, and I'm hoping he'll nap with me for a while. He's also done his business perfectly on the paper!  Thanks so much for your help and hospitality. I'll E-Mail you later to keep
you posted. Yours, Pam 110403.3125@compuserve.com

Nanci, I forgot to mention that the vet gave Bailey a clean bill of health and praise you for your efficiency with his shots and records.  Bailey was not afraid to be touched by the vet and is such a happy puppy. We just love him so.  He has gotten so much love and attention these past few days we just can't get enough of him.  The joy he is bringing to us is too much to describe.  Thank you so much. Marilee Mlee40@aol.com

(from a customer to a friend) Hi Cara, Glad to send a picture of our love and little pal. If I could have a couple more I would. Nanci's kids are wonderful.  You will be lucky to get one. If you have not owned a Shih Tzu before you will absolutely fall in love - they are so endearing.  Dewey is so healthy and beautiful.  I would  buy him all over again. Let me know if you get a baby and send a picture of you new pal. Stan StanM1@webtv.net

Hi Nancy, Just an update on the Precious one. Dr, Hank Travis, my long term vet in Huntington returned from vacation and was able to see Precious. He is the only vet that I have found to have the knowledge, experience and love of animals I can rely upon. He found Precious to be of excellent quality, health and temperament. He also commented that she also has other attributes that he does not often see in the smaller breeds. We can attribute them to you. He recalled that he had heard of your farm and remembered the location and the fine reputation. Naturally, I was delighted with myself for finding you and knowing right away that I need go no further...you are THE ONE! And you must be delighted too. I am going to write him a note and enclose your card. Hope you are doing well and not snowed in!!! Fondly, Maureen 007mod@optonline.net

So happy to see that Yoshi was placed in a good loving home.  I love receiving emails that you send me from your customers. You certainly start them off with a very loving environment. I took my kennel out last night and will clean it out good this weekend and just have it ready.  I just want everything to be perfect when the little puppy arrives.  Poor little thing will not only be away from its mommy but in a different home with a different dog. I have a talk with Misty every day :) :) telling her that soon she will have a sibling.  I really thinks she understands.  He! He! He! Maria Elena tararaa@aol.com

Hi Nanci, I won't be bring Ruby down in July because I found a friend who will come to my house and stay with her. That will be much easier for me time wise as far as transporting her to Conn. I really appreciate your having this service and your kindness always. Regards, Bev bmartin1@berkshire.rr.com

I'm so excited!!! You don't know how long I have been waiting for a great little black and white w/a sweet, gentle, playful disposition! My only hold out was traveling the distance but now I realize it will be well worth it to get one of your dogs. Thanks! ibbarb28@yahoo.com
